I cannot recommend Danielle/Sol enough. After 5+ years with another broker, I changed to Sol this year and it was a great decision. Super responsive (which was a major pain point with my prior broker), open to digging deeper for a better suited policy and price and just all round helpful and efficient! Thanks so much!

Highly recommend Danielle for insurance purposes. Professional, seamless and no pressure from her in comparison to the larger companies who constantly ring about their quotes. Gives you time to think and work out your best options.
Danielle is friendly but prompt and stays focused on the request at hand. Recommend using Danielle for a personal, 1-1 experience without the pressure and judgements.

Danielle was great to deal with. She made the whole process easy, explained everything clearly, and was always happy to help. Friendly, professional service and I highly recommend.

Plastering work can involve working at height, silica dust exposure, and finishes that need to hold up to a builder’s or owner’s expectations long after the job is done. Whether you’re rendering, skimming ceilings or fixing and setting plasterboard, Sol Insurance Brokers can help you explore cover options that reflect the risk you actually carry.

Frequently asked questions

I do both solid rendering and interior plastering, does that change my cover?

Cover can generally be structured around the full mix of work you do, from external rendering to interior fix and set. Let us know the range of services you offer and we can help you look at options that fit.

Tools, equipment and plant cover can include theft and accidental damage, often including tools kept in a locked vehicle. Conditions such as security requirements may apply, so it’s worth checking policy wording.

Subcontracted work can generally be considered when structuring your cover. Let us know the head contractor’s or site operator’s insurance requirements and we can help you explore options that meet them.

Public and products liability can respond to claims for property damage arising from your work, including damage that becomes apparent after the job is complete, subject to policy terms and conditions.

Some liability policies may respond to claims involving exposure to dust or other substances, subject to policy wording and exclusions. We can help you understand what’s typically included and what isn’t.

It may be relevant where you’re responsible for work in progress, such as a render or ceiling job partway through. Contract works can help protect eligible plastering work against insured events such as theft, fire and storm, subject to policy terms.
